Tire Pressure and Tread Wear

Even if the tire pressure in your vehicle is not so low that you notice it, it is still important to check tires regularly and top them off with a bit of air when needed.

Improperly inflated tires will cause tires to wear unevenly. In the long run, this will cost you because of the shortened tire lifespan.

When tires are inflated to the proper pressure, the weight of the vehicle is distributed evenly across tire treads. This gives the vehicle stability and ability.

Underinflated tires show wear on the outside edges of the tread, while overinflated tires show wear down the middle.

Keeping tires rotated and assuring that they have the right amount of pressure not only keeps you and your loved ones safer on the road, it also saves money when it comes to tire replacement.
